What?

I really enjoy my passport quite a bit. It has a GPS tagging feature so I can tag out any known false alarms so that they never beep again. I can mark police hot spots. I really have no complaints although I haven't had a Valentine One yet. I would like to try it out one day.

It would be really cool to have a V1 because it fun to see where cops are and they they are radaring, but I don't speed or drive
highway/interstate, so its really not worth the 4 hundo for me.

I love the V1. I drive 7hrs to school or home every so often and the V1 really saves my butt. It's a great investment. It gets a lot of false alarms around towns but you can easily change settings to fix that. I generally don't use it when I'm going for a short drive but if I know I'm going to be driving home from somewhere, no matter how far away, at night, I always bring it. Cops can be very sneaky at 3am.
I took a video a while back with my cell phone when I was driving home late night. I picked up a cop over 2 miles away, drove by him as he had someone pulled over, and keep driving to show how far away the V1 will keep picking up his Ka signal. There were a lot of false alarms around me because of a shopping center but the Ka light was flashing and pointing to the cop.

enjoy!

Are they even legal in Massachusetts?

I will check up on the legality of the Blinder.
edit: well, first of all, I just found out that site is a fake. The actual Blinder site is:
http://www.blinderxtreme.com
my apologies.
As for legality:

Gotta love that. Anybody know about how effective one would be on a motorcycle?

I can't see it being any less effective? It's still detecting the same signal, what type of vehicle it's mounted to shouldn't make a difference

I have the Escort 8500i X50 and love it. It's saved me from about 6-9 tickets since I've owned it. Only problem is the sound is hit or miss, some times I can't hear the detector when it's a low level warning.
When I turn it on while listening to music it seems to be louder but some times its loud when I turn it on before I start my car it seems loud. It's weird.
