You know, if they only let the curves of the milling converge to a point in the back and then slice the back a little deeper, they would have a much better look for the Electra:

WAIT OMG there's no front block!! I am impressed, the VA must thread right into the body now. REally reminds me of the things BL did to update the Timmy platform with the Vice and Protege.
It should remind you of the original spyders.

Kingman bringing it back to the oldschool!

Yeah that was my original thought too like 250, but IF it is under 200..I'll probably get one

the tiny lpc are more of a joke on a well made spyder, plus they look tacky anyway. That electra looks better because it doesn't have one.

No LPC reminds me of Angels. In fact these just remind me of Angels altogether.
If this is under $200, I may just get one sometime. If the price is right, this is most definitely a step in the right direction.

Same here, even though Angels have always used LPCs until the A1 (they might have them too, not sure). On angels they actually made a difference though.

But I agree, the front with no LPC looks kinda like an A1.

No, angels did not start with LPC's, and the "LPC" that showed up on later models didn't actually do anything, it just provided reserve volume for the LPR, which didn't need the volume ANYWAY.

This is exciting. New spyders. :-) Maybe they'll be as light as the pre vs spyders too.

My bad, but by "always" I really mean LCD era on because that's all people really think of

Didn't they do SOMETHING though? Even if not much, I remember you could lower pressure with a big volumizer, unlike on Spyders where it didn't really do anything.

well, i just ran some ratio measurements (going off the size of the VA) and a standard compact spyder is 22.1cm long on the top tube and 20.2cm long on the bottom, including VA, not including LPC. this one is, get this, 17.8cm on the top tube, and 16.2cm on the bottom tube. now, in standard english, this gun is about 1.75" shorter than a standard (compact body) spyder.

For which gun? The SLG or the Electra?

Nope, they did nothing. Untill the angel 4. Where they moved the LPR to the other tube. Actually, on spyders, LPC's can do something. ;-)
