hey, I may be blind
but I can't find the air passage
in the mini there is a huge tube that the gas goes through that is as wide as the whole frame. On SP's gun there is a speaker and electronics in the way which makes me wonder how small the air passage is.
sorry if this has been answered
[edit]
and a battery, I am not seeing any way to get a nice air passage crammed into the frame without small hoses or something which is a big - in my mind. I had hoses in my timmy, I love my timmies, I hate the hoses.
[edit #2]
it was pointed out that we have not seen the other side of the ASA, I wonder if it actually uses normal fittings and we just have not seen them yet as they are showing it off without them. Anyone care to enlighten me who has actually seen/held the gun?
[edit #3] Saw more pics, no macroline fittings, so... where is the air passage?

That still doesnt justify $300 for a maxflo and gas through grip. Unless its completely amazing.

Gun looks super sick, its good to see some new things introduced in this marker (magnet eye covers, ect). I dont have the money to drop on one of these (or at least no desire to spend $12-$1500 on a paintball marker, when something much less costly will do the same thing for me). But, I do love that it introduces some new elements beyond what were used to seeing. I predict the best parts of this marker will become integrated into future, more economic designs.

well this is a dieing sport and lots of the technology and ideas have been used. and to see a marker like thiis with almost everything new and inovative is truley remarkable.
i pretty sure there is a reason for the price. but im also sure.. there will be bugs or defects.
there always is with something new.
the pulse
the mini
there many more.

I am VERY dissapointed in SP for being a part of such a UGLY *** marker. I would choose a damn spyder over something like that

agreed. very ugly marker.
i really wish DLX would just come into this forum and say "the speaker is there because....." and finish that sentence. does he need to do a bunch of prototype testing to tell us what they were thinking when they put a speaker in? I WANNA KNOW!!
sorry, i'm home sick and have nothing better to do than ponder the reason for a speaking in a paintball marker.

All programming is done through the speaker. A voice will tell you what parameter you are on and the adjustments as you make them via a mouse style "roller ball" wheel similar to ones you use to scroll up and down webpages.

Oh for the love of jesus, this marker has so muh potential in the looks department, it's nice as it is(except the foregrip) IMO...but PLEASE come out with PL versions. And when I say PL I mean new milling & such, forget about losing $$ because you lure a team/player in, and then next year the team/player is shooting a timmy, MAKE THEM SIGN A CONTRACT!! Make a batch & have their contract expire once you've sold all of the units. What im getting at is, anodizing a marker with a team logo, screams to the customer you're cheap....and you're trying to milk us of every penny. For the extra $$ I'd rather get a gun anodized the way I want.

Am I the only one who thinks this looks akin to the Tippmann Triumph eXT? LOL.
