Charlotteville ballers?

Hey guys I just got back into the sport a few months ago after being out for a few years. I used to play with team Fair Warning in Fishersville and at Splathouse. Since those fields don't exist anymore I've tried Warplay Paintball (makes up their own rules to the game) and Pevs (so far away). Anyone in the Charlottesville area looking to play together? Know any fields that aren't two hours away? Also, any Fair Warning/Splathouse guys still around?

Talking about paintball plus? the one in fisherville? was a great place to play

I reffed there alot years back. I live in Waynesboro and the closest feilds are prolly either Skyline in Strasburg or feilds in Richmond.

Hey man i live close to cville, im like 20 mins away in fluvanna. Ive been to most of the closest fields. Lets see theres PBA, warplay, rockwood, and used to go to rudys but there closed now. PBA is cool but there moving to a new location. I suggest rockwood, its pretty sweet. But pretty much all these fields are like an hour and 15 mins away.

@Nah - Yeah Paintball Plus was a great place to play. Too bad the owners had all those problems and had to shut down. I spent like 4 years up there.
@yankee - I think I'm going to try Rockwood next. I heard that a lot of tourney teams are playing there and it's a good way to make some connections to private fields.
@baller420 - What kind of team dude?

lake paintball was another great place to play, had a few competitive teams.

Sully--I saw one of the owners last semester taking classes at BRCC, didnt say anything. Does the word Monkey mean anything to you? Monkey and I were at paintball plus allottttt.

University of Virginia has a paintball team. Everyone is welcome to head out with us. We often practice at PBA, Rockwood, and private fields when we get the chance. Lots of practice.

yea i got to play at lake paintball (rudys paintball) a few times before they closed, i would love if they were still open, it was only a 15 min drive to get there from my house

good choice, if your looking to play tournament ball theres teams there of all levels that kelton (owner) will work with you to put you on one.

Is PBA good? I don't know whether its worth the drive or not. It would be fun to play with you guys sometime.

pba and rw are really close.... and since i already got banned from pbas forums for saying they dont have xball everyweekend.... just go the extra few miles the rockwood. its an extremely different experience then pba. i played at pba for a while and i just started at rockwood in jan. everyone who has made the transition from pba to rockwood dont regret it.

I remember Fair Warning. I remember Kathy, Garland and Bruce. Kathy was a great field owner. I know they did Choppers tourneys, IAO and hosted a big tournament themselves. Wow, that is really going back a ways.
