Aside from both looking great, they have the best form factor IMO.
Contours to your body well, feels good, etc.
Also, they never slip off.

Sporting Proto 05 arm pads & Dye Core knee pads. They get the job done, although i need new knee pads since losing a little bit of weight translated into the pads sliding down a bit.

Looked into getting NXe pads (knee & elbow) but the elbow pads didn't fit quite right. I seem to be in between L & XL. It's weird. Haven't tried on the knee pads yet, they weren't in stock.

Joo stealing teh threadz!!1!

If you prefer wearing gloves, go Proto. If not, go Eclipse, since Eclipse ones have thumbholes. You could still wear gloves with it but i'd imagine that'd feel bulky on your hands/wrists.

I use just some cheap volleyball knee pads, but I just bought some eclipse elbow pads today. They fit well, look cool, and I'm looking forward to testing them out tomorrow.

Honestly, I've never been happier than with my Dye pads. I've had them for years, and they've held up better than I could have ever expected. Since '04 I've used them from paintball to dodgeball, from throwing myself from a moving vechicle, to gym class. They have held up very well for having to support a fat kid...

I hated my NXe kneepads, they killed circulation and dug into the back of my knees like crazy, I even got a size up. It's more painful to play with them on than without kneepads.

lol i like the dye c8 knee pads, but i use smart parts exoskin elbow pads, they have two sepereate pads instead of one big one so theyre nice and flexible
