Stolen iPod, wondering if names can be changed.
I got my iPod stolen by a (I think) piece of **** freshman yesterday, and I'm sure it was him. He steals a ton of stuff, and always gets on peoples nerves.
Anyway, I was wondering if there is anyway to tell it is mine, other than markings (scratches) that don't really tell they are yours.
My question is this:
Is it possible for him to change the iPods name, because that is the only thing that I know I can identify it by.
It's a 4GB iPod Nano, 3rd Generation if that helps.

Yes, he can change it..
Serial number is the only thing, but I don't know if you can even prove that unless you have it written down somewhere.
