Research essay: Canada in Afghanistan

I come to you ST: politics because I think you are all probably the most mature about this subject. I'm writing my research essay on how i feel we should withdraw from the country, but I'm having difficulty with my section on Canada's public's opinion. Can anyone find me a reliable source like CNN, CBC, ect that has the posted public support numbers for the operation. Thank you!

It Doesn't make sense that Canada would stay in Afghanistan to help. Canadians as a people have a tendency to step aside and let others do the work for them. This tendency is also evidenced by your post.

My advice would be to find Canada's main news sources and search for public opinion polls through that.

As a semi informed guess I'd say their opinion on the matter is low. If I'm not mistaken there was talk of withdraw until we upped our own troop committment to Afghanistan and that quited them for the time being.

Actually Im not mad, because everyone else can see the same thing that I do, and that is that you have nothing intelligent to say, you couldn't say anything intelligent even if you wanted to because of your lack of skill with the English language, and that you are just a talking head for Bill O'Reilly. It wasn't a grammatical error, it was an atrocious word usage error. You should at least explain the Vietnam comment, because it really didn't make any sense without a little more of an explanation. To my knowledge, Canada did not participate in the Vietnam conflict.

you should be able to find public opinion polls on what canada thinks they should do with their troops. I havn't heard **** about what canada wants to do in afghanistan, i was under the impression they are still fighting and are in it for the long haul there. bbc has a great site for info on wide range of topics and areas however. if you can't find any info, i'd switch your topic.

qfmft, he came into the thread i opened and said the same to me, its as if the political forum has actually become a grammar match, in which people care more about how you are saying something- than what you are saying. Not to mention i dont get paid enough to correct every grammatical error i make while trying to defend my opinions from some *** on small talk that believes the only way to seem intelligent is to try to suppress them on a message board.
