Battery Issues
I just got some batteries for my Pilot ACS and I was testing it for the first time and the damn battery was dead in less than five minutes. I bought it from a friend with no charger so I had to buy batteries. Is there a certain brand or something so I don't have to buy a 12 pack of 9V batteries for every time I want to play.

Any 9.6 will work.

You can't sustain the sort of amp draw that spyders need off of alkelines. You need rechargables of some sort. Nicads have very small capacity, nimh is better. LARGE batteries are best.

Money is the stalling point now. I could offer the nicad/nimh kits quick and cheap, but the investment around the lipos is much steeper.

Will an Energizer rechargeable kit work?
I have the battery the gun came with but as I said earlier, the guy didn't sell me the charger with it.

I doubt it. You need to specifically look for NiMh and 9.6v.

Look at the Powerex ones on ebay. They are 230 mah 9.6v. so you will get to play longer than with the Java. They will still charge fine in your gun you just have to leave them a bit longer to charge them all the way because of the higher mah.

Can you buy them any where else? I don't necessarily like ebay, I only use it when a can't find new parts in my price range. I'm willing to pay a pretty penny for a battery (and charger) though.
