I think they should make better team separation, like 3 rental 3 ramping gun vs 3 rental, 3 ramping gun instead of 6 ramping gun vs 6 rental which happens often. Like at where i played not too long a go there was a 5 high-end marker vs 5 rental game.

Whenever I play I always say something if I see the teams are going to be uneven... so that the newbs and the guys with gear and all mixed.

I would say 95% of the people where I play realize that and split themselves up that way anyway.

Why are they starting to do that? Cause not everyone has a fast high-end marker?

I agree with Corb3t...

Thank god my recball field i play at (Action Acres down in Canby) allows PSP BPS rates.. no limits on hoppers.

afaik the only gun restrictions they have are PSP-Ramping BPS-Rate, and the 300FPS or less chronograph speed as any paintball place has..

plus my field i play at has an awsome recball field..

<3 to the peeps @ AA..

AA (my fav. field) is a perfect example of a great field..

They are BYOP
The are very nice and everyone who plays there aren't *******s who treat women badly.. (Xtremez, my GF was treated like crap by some of the players there)
AA's recball field rox (fort FTP)
The entry isnt expensive (20bux)
Paint is cheaper than xtremez or portlandpb by a ton (35 a case for the cheapest stuff)

Im a walking ad for AA lol... but its the truth, everytime i go i have tons of fun.

back on topic, if you dont like the rules of the field, then speak with your wallet, and go somewhere else. Money talks (to business-owners), find another field near your house thats good and doesnt have a limit that you dont like (hell even my Autococker needs an electro hopper so what gives with the gravity hopper stuff).. They'll wonder what happened to the 15+ players they get when you stop going, and at a rate of say 15 a person for entry, thats 225 bux a day they are losing from entry fee's.. which could be enough to make them realize their decision to make it more "fair" wasnt too smart. Just because the rentals are grav. fed doesnt mean they have a even match against someone with a grav fed more accurate marker (if its upgraded)..

So go find another field if you dont like the things going on, thats what me and my gf did, we played at xtremez for almost 8 months and stopped and now only play @ AA.. The store people @ xtremez are great, the people that run the field are just offish and the players are *******s..

and sorry y'all for going off topic a bit, its that kind of day

I've seen quite a few field put hopper restrictions on rec nights ... a couple people with halos/velocities and DMs/Egos can scare off a whole bunch of nervous business for the field ... Surely they will still have open nights or open games.

The only fields that are doing this are ones with rec play only. I doubt any field that has major business with tournament players with adopt this rule.

if you can't take at least 6 shots, you should join the chess club.

this one noobs mom kept calling the speedball field (and this kids a newb. camo and a tippmann 68 for an indoor speedball field.)and complaining because i shot him three times from like 40ft away and he was crying on the way home. people like that make things suck.

First of all, those who say I paid way too much for my Mini, how do you figure?
Mini= $349.99 + tax & shipping
Tank= $160 + shipping
Vlocity= $100 + shipping
NDZ thread saver= $30.95
NDZ bolt= $35.95
NDZ spring kit= $19.95

So actually it is just over $700 and some change......MY BAD!

Also, this rule only applies to walk on rec players. We always play with a big group so we are considered a "private party" and we can use whatever. They just don't want some dude with an upped Ego to walk on and light up some 12 year old kid who is playing for his first time.

NO agitated hoppers either.

Yes, it is at the Drop Zone. I won't go to Jager because their rules are even worse.
