why vote for somebody with a middle eastern last name?? and we fighting them right now also America is not ready for a african american to be in office espically when slavery was not too long ago. If he does get into office and messes up like bush how do u think we americans are going to react to his actions i'll tell u we will treat him like we did 60 years ago

Here are a few things to think about before you go to the poll to vote for obama.

-Is our country ready for a Muslim president, while we are at war with Muslim people.
-Do you want your president worshiping in a church that is committed to another part of the world.
-Do you want a leader that has no leadership experience.
-Do you really think his 'Change' is going to happen? All these promises he is making, how is he going to back these up?
-Pulling out of Iraq, leaving the war on terror, how about we ask our military about that one.
-Obama has never supported increasing anything for our military.
-Barak Obama refused to pledge alliances to this countrys flag. Why should we elect him if he wont even pledge alliance?

just another note also what makes u think Hillary Clinton can control the white house let alone she can't control her husbands 8=======D ??????????????????????????

You guys complaining about him not having experience do realize he has more political experience than several presidents that were considered to be very effective? Lincoln comes to mind.

I voted for him in the primary, and will vote vote for him in November because anything is better than the GOP machine rampaging for another term, and Clinton is balls deep in corporate America. I don't buy into the hype surrounding him, but I think he'll do a decent job at the very least.

You are the kind of people that make me question why people aren't forced into being educated on nominees before they are allowed to choose between them.

By not mandating coverage, premiums will remain high because there is a smaller pool to split costs over. When X Y and Z end up at the emergency room, where treatment can't be refused, the cost is going to be passed onto those that have coverage.

Issues with your post:
  1. You assumed who I was voting for.
  2. You ironically told me I was the one whom is misinformed.

McCain's 100 yr Iraq war is the same thing another candidate is proposing. Just like he have troops in South Korea, Kuwait and other countries.
on your second point. again, he would not bring in large scale forces to fight off al quaeda or any other extremist groups. only the troops that are still there (which of course some troops are going to stay there, every candidate is going to do it. and if they didn't it would be foolish.) will be fighting off the enemy. and it will be no different to have troops in iraq. we have troops in about every other country in the world except for a few.

Depends on what you believe in, freedom or equality.

With that being said none of the candidates even remotely resemble a socialist.

Hitlery and Obama resemble socialist. They are all out equality for all, but they both have strong socialist ideals (more so Hitlery than Obama).

If that's the case, are you sure she should be called Hitlery? Hitler was not about social justice for all, unless you overlook the 6 million lives lost in the Holocaust.

Any mainstream candidate in US politics would fall on the right side of the political spectrum in Europe.

You missed the explanation in another thread, I'll not go over it again.

Obama is trendy, that's why people vote for him. Its apparent when people cheered when the man blew his nose (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UEnI-...ature=related). He's a celebrity, that's all. When it comes to real politics, he's out done by McCain and Hitlery.

I compare it to Nixon vs. Kennedy on the 1st TV debate. Nixon had his experience in politics, Kennedy had the charisma. Nixon was, by far, the better politician and easily would've won if the debate wasn't on TV where he looked like a sweaty old man next to the good looking JFK.

I don't disagree that Obama's charisma is one of the main causes of his success, but you act as if this charisma has no political benefits.

One of Obama's most appealing factors is the support he has across the globe, Obama is the only candidate in my eyes, with the ability to undo some of the damage to America's international image that Bush has destroyed since 9/11.

Most of the people in this thread are the reason I have fear for America.

Have any of you that plan on voting for Obama listened to his pastor? (If you haven't, you really should, It will really open your eyes to Obama)

After you've seen what his pastor has said think about it if those same type of words were said by a white pastor against the black race. Every one of you would call him a racist, but seeings how he is black it is all ok.

I'll admit I don't really like Mccain, But I would rather have him then Obama.

Obama is charismatic and just says what people want to hear, look at some of the times he's been pressured on solid questions and look at his answers.
