I do not get why there are so many U's. Like what is the purpose for a U-23? At that point they should be old enough to play on the senior squad in my eyes.

edit to ajdx: There are just so many kids that play and only like 25 are good enough to be on the national team, so they make the u-whatever age so they gain more experience

hi. my name is mike. i like manchester united for the EPL, inter milan for the Seria A, bayern munich for the bundesliga, redbull for the mls, and barcelona for the first division, i don't follow any other leagues really.

i plan on playing at montclair state university which is a top tier team in the country for D3, i play for parsippany revolution, and we are ranked 8th in the nation by some websites, and by others, around 30.

i love soccer and i read this thread everyday.

as far as club teams go, i love watching portugal and spain but i always route for USA, ofcourse. i do like france and germany, but i love portugal the most.

u-23 is only for the olympics

then there are u17 and u20 teams for their respective fifa world cups. These are to let young players adjust to the thought of playing on a stage like the world cup.

Liverpool
Spain and the US b/c of national pride.

Some interesting news for Liverpool.Xabi Alanso has been linked with Juventus for a 12 mil. Fee. If Gareth Barry is signed I guess I'm fine with it, but I would had to lose Xabi. I think Crouch and Riise are gone for the Reds too.

AS Roma>>>>>>>Real Madrid>>>Everybody else
Italy and US

Also, Roma are talking about bringing Rosina from Torino and perhaps Diego Valeri, a 21 year old kid playing for Lanus. On a more hopeful note, I'd like to see us pursue Giovinco and Rossi as well.

Diego Valeri

Supposedly Frank Lampard is going to be signing a long term contract this summer. I kind of hope Drogba leaves. He's kind of a douche. His future at the club remains uncertain. Also, we're supposedly signing a new creative midfielder. Possibly Robinho, VdV, Diego, or someone like that in my eyes.
