EVO wont shoot

Just bought an evo lcd on e-bay for my little brother and it doesnt shoot. I turn it on and can hear the solenoid clicking. But nothing. I have turned the eyes on and off, and nothing. Reg is reading 800psi. I dont get it. I have an epiphany and an ion and have had electro spyders. This has me stumped.

change the battry, cock the gun, gas it up, turn down the reg, turn the gun on, turn the eyes off, dry fire away...in theory

The gauge should read more like 300 psi.

it is already cocked. Im not that dumb. the gauge reads 300psi. The battery has 24 hours of charge. it seems like the sear is not dropping when the solenoid clicks.

I am gonna take it to my local shop. I charged the battery overnight again. And it still isnt dropping the sear. The spring is in place. I took the right side of the grip off and I can manually actuate it with a screwdriver. But it wont do it on its own strength. I am gonna check to with my volt meter that it is in fact even charging the battery. Are they 9.6v? Somewhere in that area I would imagine.

Try a regular FRESH out of the pack 9v. You shouldn't have to air it up. Turn on the grip, turn the eyes off, cock it, pull trigger. If it dry fires then it should be fine with air.

Also it could be that the solenoid has shifted down or the shims got messed up. This means that the solenoid plunger doesn't have enough up and down movement to full actuate the sear. If I remember right there are 2 small screws around the 'noid that should allow you to move the noid up and down a little.
