I'm sure that they'll do well overall, despite this result.

lol!

Well everyone is entitled to their opinion and if Tivo wants to come over and play then that would be cool.

It is interesting to note that Ducks, who came second had 4 American Pros playing for them and they lost 5-0 against Joy who are 100% European. Funnily enough, Joy are able to "hold their own" in the American Pro division..... and didn't Entourage, Playing as Dynasty not make the cut in Belgium last year.....and they were playing Div 1.

I have to say that the level in Europe is rising each year with teams getting stronger and stronger every year and this year is no exception but there is still a gap between the American Pro's and the European Pros. No one can deny that.

Jeff

What you posted is a complete twist of the rest of the thread. Do I think I could play pro in the Millennium Series? Absolutely not. You are taking what I said WAY out of context. Joy is in a world of their own. They are one of the best paintball teams out there. My comment on the talent pool is the lower levels of the Millennium Series in comparison to the lower levels of the PSP and NPPL. My point was to simply say that the Millennium Series is a great league with alot of talent up and coming. Sorry if I'm such a jerk for saying that.

look bro'ski, first off you better take this to pm's cuz i dont want another infraction for argueing with you, if you were just trying to compare the lower Divisions of millenium-psp/nppl you should've left the "iv been told i can hold my own in pro millenium" part out, you are an epic fail, GET OUT

All I've tried to do was explain my side, don't put words into my mouth. Good luck Nexus, I know you all will do great in the Millennium Series this year!

the level in millennium is definitely rising each year. However I believe why Tivo said what he did was because if you look at the average millennium pro and the average american pro, imho the american team is better. The europeans do have several amazing teams, joy for example, however the average, just as jeff said, of the pros in europe just isn't as high as it is in the US.
One thing that is interesting to note. I know that last year the firm played hb and I believe ECI played it this year. Both teams play in D1 millennium but, take ECI for example, did not fair well at all in the NPPL.

Thank you. I appreciate you taking the time to read what I actually posted. I am not hating on anyone what so ever. Joy is probably one of the top 3 teams in the world right now. And I think that if Joy played in the NPPL they would have finished top 2.

problem is that I think oftentimes people read stuff and take it as a personal attack on themselves or their friends whereas it didn't seem to me that what you posted was

I agree!!!

I was just giving another opinion because there are people that will comment on a subject that they have no knowledge of.

I have had a PM from Tivo explaining the context of the quote so all is good and he does have some good points.
