Well, we don't really have a specific team. Just a few of us that enjoy playing every now and then but are mostly too broke and lazy to play constantly. We kinda tried getting into the NCPA but couldn't get anything going due to previously stated traits.

Well, I certainly would but again, funds are a big issue. If we, and by we, that mostly has seemed to mean Karl, haha need to get the funds from the school to sponsor it and pay for everything.

If you guys ever have the time (I know school is tough to get away from) you should come down and practice with us at the DBS Indoor on Thursdays from 6-9 pm. Free field fee when you buy a case of paint (good stuff for $45-ish). DBS Kids are usually there along with Last Place, Gunslingers, some of the UW guys make appearances and CDR comes out from time to time as well. We would love to have some more people to practice with.

Has anyone looked into how much money is in the school account and if there is anything we can do for the school to earn money for some turnys. I was looking through the older posts and there was some mention of it but it died out. Who is currently the name in charge for the paintball club at wwu? And is that person still currently attending western and if so interested in playing paintball? I assume us all being college kids we will need to raise some money but we need to start out by finding out who is in charge and who is 100% down for raising money and playing

k.rollin "Karl" is pretty much the only one that has had enough drive to actually run and manage what is left of the club. Me and swedishman "Andy" are pretty much the only other dedicated members mostly now.

I'm not the budget authority, so I don't know what is involved to get funding for an event.

Splatfest09 organizers would like to invite your team to play at Splatfest09 this year.
Pay 1 admission fee to play in all of our events!
5 man X-Ball and the 5 Man Woodsball events have a 1st place prize of $400 cold hard cash and 5 case of paint.
Details are listed on the Splatfest09 thread.

I don't know if you guys have been reading the Review or Front, but there isn't really any money to fund events like this. You can go to Activities Council and ask for some money, but you're going to have to make one HELL of a case saying why you think your event will be more successful/beneficial than every other one out there looking for money.

Depending on whether or not the club was renewed, rolling might take a bit of pushing.

It seems as those no one has been on here since some time. I'm a freshman at WWU and was curious to see our paintball scene and sure enough this is what I found. My name is Lawrence and I have been playing ball for about 6 years. I shoot a 2nd Gen Olive Quest. I am from Idaho but did play tourney ball for about 3 years...all of which took place in Utah and Idaho. Familiar with 3 man and 5 man (captain of a small HS team) and also like to play rec/woodsball. It would be nice if someone could PM me so we could meet or something.
Gear
06 Olive Quest
Olive modified Avatars with soft ears i.e. ghetto E-Vents
Dye Stubby tank with Guerrilla LP reg
CP High Pressure reg
Vlo Jr. with Virtue Chip
Blue DM3 with Evolve Bolt Kit
