Once you get over weight, size and rate of fire, paintball guns all do the same thing so whats the point in having a whole bunch? If I need to shoot a bear at close range I can use a shotgun while if I needed to shoot a deer at 200 yards I could use my rifle.
I dissagree. You got pumps, mech semi's, electros, different feed setups, different styles, all with their different uses. I don't use my tournament electro against renters for example. Heck, on a normal day of walk-on play I find I need at least 3 or 4 different guns (electro, mech, pump, stockclass pistol). Over a season I'll use...
Then by back-up electro.
Then of course a good solid high end mech.
And a backup mech.
And the backup to the backups, for those really bad gun days.
And the emergency backup/loaner.
And a good solid pump (sheridan based).
and a good solid pump (nelson based).
and a backup pump.
and a good solid stockclass gun.
(ain't got a backup for this yet)
and a good solid scenario gun for when they allow full auto.
and a milsim gun for when you feel like playing army.
and a cheapy blowback for when you're playing against renters.
and a backup cheapy blowback.
and a nice blowback to use agaist people who pull a "my $1500 gun makes me special" attitude.
and a backup nice blowback.
and an old/rare electro you buy just to have
and an old/rare mech you buy just to have
and an old/rare pump you buy just to have
and an your Heavy Metal gun (early blowback, VM/68 special/Golden Eagle/etc), for when some kid complains that last years electro is just too darn heavy.
and your tinkering gun(s), for when you feel like going Dr. Frankenstein on something.
and your pistol.
and your backup pistol.
So, at least 24 to have all the bases covered. Now I just need to remember where all these extra guns I have came from.
