It is the middle of the 28th century. Earth’s resources have long been depleted by the insatiable needs of the race of life forms she supports. As the people wonder where they will get the materials needed to sustain the way of life that had been so commonplace and normal for so long, the mining consortiums began to take control of the situation. For the last few centuries, the Mining Consortium handled all the scavenging and gathering and refining needs of the Earth and the some 25 billion people crawling across her surface.

The Mining Consortium was formed as the 3 largest Mining Corporations banded together and combined their resources to begin off world exploration for essential and luxury class minerals, gasses, and other resources such as water. For the next 200 years the success of the Mining Consortium was phenomenal, hailed as the example of human ingenuity in the face of adversity and overwhelming odds. As the Mining Consortium built bigger and faster starships and space stations, the Terran Federation Military began taking notes and developing starships of their own.

Time passed and the human presence in outer space only expanded, as we found more sources of the resources we needed on Earth, the more we needed. Eventually we encountered our first signs of life on another world. They were lesser life forms, non-sentient, but it was deemed prudent by the Military to get involved and provide mainline security for the Mining Consortium by means of eradicating any trace of life on the planet’s surface. As the 30th century rolled around the Military decided that before any mining operation could begin, they would have to detail a security sweep to ensure the safety of the resource gathering operations. This standard procedure would prove for little more than simply wiping out non sentient races for the next 300 years…

In the early years of the 33rd century, the Terran Federal Navy 8th Battle Group arrived in orbit of Planet 321 Theta. Its arrival preceded the 3 large, heavy duty mining ships that would take up orbit around the nearest moon until the Navy could determine the safety of the planet below.

321 Theta, or Skanadir as it was known to its inhabitants, was home to a race of around 6 billion pre-space travel life forms. Technologically they were as developed as humankind itself was in the 21st century. As the first of the Naval scans swept the surface of the planet, the Skanadirians were already attempting to make contact with the fleet of imposing war ships in orbit.

First Contact was established at 1800 hours fleet time, February 24th 3213. The message sent by the Terran Federal Navy: “We come in peace…”

A brutal massacre at Zakhaev International Airport in Moscow has left hundreds of Russians dead or wounded. And now the discovery of an undercover American operative in the terrorist cell responsible for the attack has triggered a massive surprise attack on the U.S. After bypassing the Early Warning System, Russia has launched an invasion of our nations capitol and supporting states throughout the Eastern coast of the Unites States. Washington lies in ruins. The Capitol building, the White House and even the Pentagon are under attack by Russian military forces.

In an effort to cripple every American response, Russian Spetsnaz Forces are assaulting strategic targets along the eastern states, including the Triad area. Their objective is to cut off vital supply lines and secure major highways against reinforcements. If they are successful, reinforcements from Fort Bragg and vital petroleum supplies will be cut off, leaving the Capitol crippled.

Local elements of the NC National Guards 30th Brigade Combat Team quickly form the first line of defense. As US Army Command scrambles to provide reinforcements and organize a counter-attack in Washington, the battle for the Triad begins.

Celebrating 12 years this season, the ACTS is returning to its roots catering to 3-PLAYER teams with 1 alternate per team & 3 Divisions using STANDARD CLASSIFICATIONS (individual player):

ROOKIE (1st year ever in tourney play), NOVICE (2nd or 3rd year of tourney play), or OPEN (any # of years tourney play). ID registration ($5.00) will be required of every player on a roster.

ENTRY FEE will be $185.00 per team, BYOP, air included. Cash prizes to 1st & 2nd based on entries & one Overall Sportsmanship Award to one team at each event. Final Championship trophies will be awarded to the 1st Place Team in Each Division. Each Division will require a minimum of SIX teams to format & the ACTS reserves the right to combine Rookie/Novice or Novice/Open at events.

Registration required ONE WEEK IN ADVANCE or pay $50 LATE FEE. Cut-off is 5pm Friday before event. NO ENTRIES or PAYMENT will be accepted on GAME DAY – no exceptions!

ACTS ID REGISTRATION required of every player rostered (incl. alternates).

It is the mid-1980’s.

At the height of the Cold War, Soviet troops mount an offensive against the United States of America, sending an invasion force directly into the heart of America. Having established a stronghold in the Midwestern States, the Red Army begins its march, advancing to the east and west.

As winter looms, the Red Army approaches the east coast, passing over the Appalachian Mountains and into North Carolina. Scattered groups of local resistance fighters begin to receive news of a faction of American Citizens fighting for their freedom in the Midwest. The militias of North Carolina soon join together under the same banner as the Midwestern resistance fighters and begin a united guerilla campaign against the occupying Communist forces. They call themselves...The Wolverines.

A down right crazy day of shooting the hell out of each other to see who has what it takes to win a war. come out and enjoy getting shot the hell up and dishing it back out.
it will be a private event so we will have free run of the field. we will have the field for 6 hours. that's right 6 hours.
The cost is $48 per person for 6 hours (or if you don't want to play that long they have for $40 you get 3 hours). that includes all equipment, 500 paintball and all day air.
Additional paint runs as followed:

ws : $15- 500 paintballs
$35- 1000 paintballs
$ 68 2000- paintballs
they only allow there paintballs to be used.

there is a $25 non refundable deposit per person that has to be paid up to 7 days before the game. more details will be added later. You don't pay me, you pay Paintball Central ! Tell them about this event so they can have a head count prepared..

Something doesn't scale right in regards to prices for paintballs. $15 for 500 balls, why not buy 4 bags at $60 rather than a case at $68?
