A simple "report post to moderator" click and the guy is banned ... I suggest you guys leave it at that in the future.

We are using modified CFO 5 man ruels.

A copy of the 2008 TPA Cup rules can be found here.

Do you guys want to run the format like the 2 man?

Time between games will be changed but you get the basic idea.

Here's how the 2 man formant works.

We will place teams in brackets of 4-5 teams pending turn out.
Each team will play best 2 out of 3 with a 1 minute turn around between games.
Wins are worth 3 pts
Ties are worth 1 pt
Loses are worth 0 pts
If you win your first 2 games against a team you get a bonus of 4 pts

Top teams move on to final round

This format has more of a x-ball lite feel to it (ie no flag pull pts, player eliminated pts, bodies left pts, flag hang pts, etc...) Pure wins best 2 out of 3 takes away some of those fluke game factors.

Sure do! I loved the 2 man format. Only thing is it may require more paint which proved troublesome for a few teams i think last 2 man but I'm down for it.

Paint did not seem to be the issue with teams. Plus it's 2 man MOVE lol... Just because there is a min time limit doesn't mean you need to use it. lol...

For 2 man and 3 man I will make the fields CRAZY fast. 5 man will be on PSP layouts.

I played 3-man last year and I can say from expereience that you don't need the lane blockers. The field is different every event...It's hard to tell what Mike will think up. I wouldn't be surprised if maybe one of the events has lane blockers.

Sub players, play a man down or break dance at start box, it's all good but the game starts whether your ready or not. Just like in x-ball

lol..... thanks

Some will have lane blockers, some will not, some will have a few, etc.... If we go with the best 2 out of 3 you can bet they will be set up to play fast However it will be up to the players to play it fast.
