Was anyone on Damage ever associated with East Coast Extreme? I'm jw since I picked up a factory jersey a while back and someone at my field was telling me how it could be worth something, since some players from Demolition were on ece.

Tampa Bay Damage made their debut as a young hungry local team called Demolition. Led by owner and leader CJ Botsolas the team made a trip to Tampa to start playing Super 7 events. The team developed a growing desire to win and brought on coach/manager Joey Blute. At this point the team wanted to expand to the national level and compete in a more athleticly demanding venue. From here they made a disastrous attempt at Division 2 X-Ball. Coach Joey made drastic new changes in the way the team was organized and demanded a minimum of three solid days of practice per week, all the while teaching them the mental skills they needed to play together. When October rolled around the team had come a long way and felt that the name Tampa Bay Damage was a more fitting name for such a young and aggressive team. Orlando was a heartbreak for the players when they lost two matches by only 1 point and dominated the rest of their matches. They were so close and with their performance at World Cup the team knew they were ready for the Open X-ball division.

In the following February at the LA Open TBD astonished everyone by finishing 4th in the open division during only the team's third national event. Later in the year coach Paul Richards recognized the team's dedication and potential; he came forward and offered to help teach the young team what it takes to win. The year was a struggle, learning from mistakes along the way the team finished the season in 4th place. With nothing ever stopping them before, Tampa Bay Damage was ready to take on the NXL.

Time to complete the story with 2010 season's first place.

I have seen TBD develop over the last few years and truly some of the credit for their success has never been mentioned. When I reveil that Bill the guy who with such stamina and work ethic makes it all happen in the pit on every event I believe all the players on TBD will acknowledge that fact. The unsung heros of winning teams are those unnoticed people who keep he pods fresh and full, wipe you guys off from hits and clean your mask, pit personel should have more recognition in MHO. Bill is in my opinon the pro of pit personel.
