rumors of a new marker

i keep hearing rumors of a "speego" being made by Kingman / tested and improved by bad company. apparently its a new tourny spyder!

hersay says its really fast and coming soon?, but I checked the tourny pics from Kansas and it looked like BC was using the VS2's.

does anyone have any info to add? perhaps confirm or deny? id love to see kingman release a new tournament level marker. definitely be interested in picking one up if they do.

i havent a clue.

however, if you check the spyder.tv - behind the pain advertisement it says in they're commercial they'll be showcasing the "VS1, EMR1 and the Xtra." I havent a clue what the EMR1 is but i do plan on finding out.

The EMR1 is a new gun to the MR sreies. It's an MR1 with the new style electric frame and an MR3 stock.

thats why EMR1 sounded soo familiar. i knew parts of it related to something or some crap.
I was on an airplane flying east to west earlier today..thats my excuse, haha.

lol. I'm starting to think Kingman is pulling something huge because this talk of a new gun is big now. When it started for me was when my shop owner told me BC was building Speegos. Ever since then, there's been talk about a new gun from Kingman, the VS's saying RS's instead, the poll from dre on spyder.tv and on nation, what the hells going on!?

haha, yeah. I think it's funny that Bad Company uses egos and they're a Spyder sponsored team. That kind of says something about Spyders there.

Yeah too bad. Maybe they'll turn out to be a team that's just sponsored by Spyder for the apperal and stuff like that but end up using different guns.

they were shooting the VS2's with the new Tadao boards at Kansas for awhile.

they have been working for quite awhile on having the team shoot guns that are available off the shelf. i think its a catch-22, they want to retain the high caliber of players on the team and the immense value of the pro spot but also want BC to use as many of Kingmans product line as possible. its one of those things in tournament paintball..

speculation: have you ever been on a team that had to shoot a companies paintballs that were way way too brittle? quite frustrating. when you lose a game everyone just starts getting very angry and blaming themselves when the equipment may be the real issue. i can only imagine that the team (JC and the boys shoot pretty quick) is pushing 20bps+ on guns that probably weren't designed to do 1100 rounds a game..they may be shredding paint in the events which could create an issue when your pro franchise is on the line. gotta keep that competitive edge.

the important part is that BC (in the commercials and print ads) has been trying to shoot the VS2's.

surely this is why kingman has been working on a new marker. someone around here has to have some juicy details..?

seeing as im the only one in the thread thats made unsubstantiated claims about some new marker..wouldn't you be under the impression that it didn't exist?

thats excatly what was happening gary.

They were running their guns like track cars and wrecking the crap out of them. Putting wayyy too many bullets through them wayy to quick and they just couldnt handle it. The guns would quit working on them. They were excellent the first couple of games...but i dunno. This was Huntington when i remeber this crap happening and my memory sucks so details are gettin sketchy.

They're still great guns. My VS2 is excellent however the stock internals couldnt put up to the professional abuse that BC was putting them through. Tommy Cole is shellin out a wholleee lotta scrilla for BC to be in the position they're in and he cant afford to let them slip back into Semi-Pro. He doesnt have guns that work for them and he doesnt want guys switching their guns every 2-3 games (i guess... i dont know if this option ever got brought up, but im sure it had to of been considered) so he allowed them to shoot whatever they wanted. Some of the players had their own other guns, other ones borrowed guns from friends. They're pro, its no difficulty to get their hands on a high-end gun for free.

i went to a practice with them and they were shooting whatever they wanted. I took pics but i didnt post them on the internet for the fact that they were shooting non-spyder guns. It was supposed to stay under wraps and was supposed to get handled. They were supposed to have shot Spyder guns all this tournament season but it just didnt work out. Hopefully they'll finish strong and with spyder markers in hand.

a speego is a made up term only rumored. nothing at all has pointed to any credibility to a gun that would be slanged off as a 'speego'. Somebody just made up the term and threw it up on pbnation.

kingman made an EP gun (x2!) and it failed. terribly.
round 3? Even I dont know.

I couldnt tell you exactly what happened to their VS2's other than they worked them like champs and the guns just couldnt keep up. They were putting 10,000 balls threw them in a day when the guns were expecting to have that many put threw them in 2 months. I dunno what specifically happened.
