you don't need foam at the bottom. when you think your pod is full.. add 3-4 balls so it is over full, slowly close the lid while tapping the bottom.. works everytime. I have never had paint break in a pod.. not even cheap, fragile ****!

You have bad paint my friend, do they break in your hopper as well.

If it isnt the paint which i doubt, you can also purchase some soft cushion material with a sticky back and stick them onto the back of the lids to keep the balls from hitting the hard plastic.

the guy above me is right!
padding? WTF?!?

you fill them to the point of overflowing, cup your hand over the top, and gently shake the pod until the paint falls down. take ONE ball out, and shut the lid (it should be kind of hard to shut). If you can shake it and here ball on plastic, you don't have enough paint in the pod!

I know the padding he's talking about. It's a thin sheet of neoprene with a sticky backside. It comes in a sheet, and can be cut to fit.

where was the paint before you bought it?
if it was in a cold garage/storage room then it will be more brittle and that could happen.

ok when you pack paint and your done give it a little shake... shakey shakey... means it will breaky breaky... but than you don't want it to tight to where if any pressure is applied it will break.... it's an art rofl

you guys notice how we forgot to ask him what type of harness he has? it can be the design of the harness, the cheap Wal-mart ones that are holds 2 pods up right bounces like crazy, and those are deff. going to pop even the most expensive balls.
