pros questioning the players
So I went to the wednesday night drills last week for the first time (in 08) and there were only 2 non hurricanes there for drills. I asked landry and he said thats about what we got the week before.
Now i know we have only been doing this for 3 weeks, but i remember the first week there were a good amount of players coming to drill with us. My main question is
A) is drilling with the hurricanes something that is of any intrest to the general public
B) If you do have an intrest, why not go (bad drills, dislike, price)
Just trying to see why people arn't doing drills on wednesday.
Not trying to attack anyone just looking for feedback

I have been planning to go but I played 2x a week the last couple weeks and my car failed inspection...which actually ended up costing $2400 to fix.
I think the drills are good. EVERYONE needs to practice snapshooting.
I don't know why other people have gone but I could only assume pricing.
I guess people would weigh $75 to play v $75 to drill

If I lived near wherever this is happening, I'd do it. I don't why anyone would not want to.

A) Absolutely.
B) Distance (+300 miles). It would be worth the trip, but it's too much of a killer on the wallet for one night. If you guys ran a weekend or 3 day drill program, I'd deffinetly go.

A] i am gonna try to attend one while i have spring break in a couple of weeks, seeing as im from maine but i really want to play, i love to drill and with the hurricanes it would be an added bonus.
B] i think price is the biggest issue. i know boston has to charge the prices to keep the place open, but i usually look at drills as a cheaper alternative if you cant get a good day of games in, and paying 70 for just drills seems a little steep i guess.
I think in the end ill sack up at go and spend the 70 but its going to be a rare occasion because i live in maine, and because its kinda expensive.
my .02 cents. looking forward to drilling with you guys.

wouldnt it be my 2 cents or my .02 dollars or $.02??
on a serious note thanks for the contributions on this. I just got back this wednesday and there were alot of kids there.... mostly because of school vaca though....
for the players that live a little more local, maybe the people that play sunday night(because i think the price is the same) is there something different we could do that would make this more attractive, or is this of little intrest to those players...

i went one week with noel, it was a good time. The only reason i havent gone back was because weeknights are hard to swing for myself between classes and work. Not for any particular negative reason in relation to the session itself.

Great point Noel..
Dan, you have heard me say it how many times... Paintball is the most important thing to guys, unless there is something more important to do. Like pick lint from their toes.
Want me and my boys to come play with the 'canes? Cool. We'll be there.
Want me to come work with the 'canes? Oh...well...I would, but you know...American Idol is on tonight.
I get so many emails from players asking if they can come practice with us. Because they want to learn from pros. I will invite them to Wednesday.
Let them see what it is like.

Dan, I think you need to carefully consider the fight you are picking here. I bear first hand witness to your own grammatical prowess.
Let's just say it would benefit you, when you're done helping people with paintball drills, to request one of them sit with you and run you through a quick spelling bee.
