ive kind of grown out of my guitar and was going to buy another one ive been looking at epiphone sg's or les pauls my friend keeps syaing get a jackson but i dont ahve that much cash..any help will be great

ibanez......stay away from most epiphes. jacksons are ok but only if you have about 1500 to spend. still ibanez will give you your moneys worth.

My Epiphone has made me very happy. Then again so has my Ibanez.... Just go to the store and play some in your price range.

Might want to find something a little less muddy then. I don't listen to any punk, but as far as I know it's a little more on the clear/twangy side. Look into a Fat Strat. Or like I said just go out and play to see what sound you like.

actually im thinking about not getting a new guitar but maybe picking up a new amp im looking into a 30 watt or maybe an 80 watt my friend is selling anyone help?

Depends on what you're doing. If you're playing gigs I'd definitly get a head and stack. And if your guitar has humbuckers I'd get a Marshall head.

it does have a humbucker i was actually looking at getting a fender like 30 or 40 watt although my friendf is selling his 80 watt so i may buy it

he isnt going to be able to buy a stack with 500. i got a marshall mg50dfx for 350. its a 50watt but you can get a stereo one that has 2 speakers which = 100watts. i recomend that amp. if not marshall then randall amps.

I have a low end Ibanez rg270 with lace sensors. Not bad. It was under 500 for the stock but more with the lace. Its oooowright. I inherieted a Fender EC. Strat. OMG. ........OMG.
Best guitar Ive played to date. Pretty pricey though. I play through an Ampeg Super Jet 12, 50 watt all tube. So sweeeeeeeeeeeet and smooth. But yeah check out Ibanez......for your price range.

yeah it costs more than 350 for the 100watt one though. but i also got a nice ibanez for that price also. musicians friend it will run you close to 600 i got it for i think 350. if your interested in ibanez ill post more about it.
