sean from SP offered me 2 cases of paint and a personal talk with the gardner brothers if i could make it. said there was alot about SP i dont know, and i should.

anyone from the the upper mid west (MN, Wesconsin ...) going?

i was also told that TK might come out for it.

im not much of a scinario player, but he said i would get to talk to the gardner brothers about smart parts past. and if you dont know already, i am a VERY public anti-smart parts talking head.

It looks interesting but its way to early to tell if I could actually make it. Some friends and I are planning on going to a giant big game up in Hudson on the 27th of april (I think thats the day) which if I plan for that might leave me a bit low on cash.

yeah, i dunno what they can say. i mean you got the US district court judge saying "neither adam or billy had the expertise nor the employed the expertise to invent the shocker"

i mean what could you possibly say - the frickin judge says your a lier!

i dunno, i would be excited to get any kind of VIP treatment, and 2 cases is more paint than i could shoot in a month, so its basically free for me to play there, if i can get down there. and its looking like im gonna be able to make it.

You know you should be careful..... what if SP decides they have a need for skilled machinist?! Heck with cockerpunk customs and the fact that you're going to engineering school you'll be doomed.

You'll be chained up in a little cage at smart parts HQ and forced to fix Ions all day

i would fix an ion like doc does - slap the ions plastic body on top of an autococker and hand it back to the kid. that white board is a classic, so many simple paintball truths in there.

actually that topic came up on SCP. i have a job this summer, and im certainly not looking to get into the paintball industry as a professional ... yuck!

my fav was always this one -

then again, its no longer right. they depict everyone going to cammo and such, whereas now its all the speedball garb. same diff tho. its the exact thing that has happened to me though my years playing paintball. the longer i play, the less i care about anything but the playing part. and in most cases, its the most fun to go out and play with a splatmaster and an extra tube of paint.

I'm looking at going, though I need to finalize plans. How'd you get the offer from sean to talk to the Gardners? I would also like to talk to them. I think that meeting them for me would make the whole trip worth it in my opinion.
