I'll get right on reading the whole forum  . But do I have to read the paintball sections too? They don't seem to have much to do with jazz. Anyways, finding a key and a scale to solo in with a good rhythm, isn't repetitive. Now go ahead and explain what you meant when you said blues is repetitive.

Ha your funny, i meant just this one. I meant the basis of it is repetitive, not the whole thing. If your just starting about you can get the simple tune and start to play. As you progress you start improvising and playing more complex solo's. I didn't mean that the whole genre is the same i just meant the basic beat.

That's where you're wrong. You're obviously not a jazz fan, or else you wouldn't be saying these things so there's no real reason for me to argue anymore. Now about blues....
