I'm looking for this song that sounds pretty sad. it's got a dude singin and he says a bunch of words that rhyme with humiliation, like retaliation, complication, alienation. **** like that. dude singin almost sounds like hes got some reggae in his voivce. lemme know if you know the name of this song, it would be a good one for a rainy day like today
This is a long shot, but I've heard it on the radio more lately. It really sounds like an 80's, early 90's song to me. Either pop or maybe rock. It starts out with a guy singing, I think his best singing parts are "I need your love" or "I need you back" or something like that. Then it transfers to a woman with a much higher pitch voice, with almost a mysterious element when she starts singing.
Not very helpful, I know. It might not be 80's but it sure sounds like that decade. It's not michael mcdonald on my own or Human League Don't you want me, I know that much.

the beat goes Kick drum on first beat, snare on second, kick on the third (as opposed to the offbeat second kick drum of most DNB), and then a snare on the 4th. Every 2 bars there is a variation in the beat where it goes KIck offbeat snare high hat, kick and snare on same beat. There is an offbeat bassline that fills in the beat perfectly.
I heard this track 2 years ago on a mix cd my boy (DJ Chilean Amherst MA) gave me. I wish I could figure out what it is but I am afraid it is unreleased.
I hear it randomly every once in a while so its a pretty popular song on the radio. Anytime its on I always hear the same part. The guitar breaks away and plays the same little riff over that is distorted with a very heavy filter ( sounds like flanger or phaser effect) I have searched all over on top billboard sites and everything and cant seem to find it.
