The media didn't destroy Paul, at least not by ignoring him, the fact is the average Republican is generally content with their neo-con leadership, end of story.

Dude, you mean to say that the media didn't play a role in censoring paul? Most Americans get their news from the television. 1+1= ?

What I'm saying is the average American doesn't believe in the Constitution, they believe in fear.

Indeed.

I've lost my confidence in the American people.

Paul would have gotten more support if he had gotten better numbers. How much did we hear about Huckabee before he passed Romney in IA? How much did we hear about Tancredo, Tommy Thompson, Hunter, Dennis K, Dodd, Brownback, or any of the other candidates with around the same level of support as Paul?

He never won a state.

He never came close to winning a state.

He never polled consitently above 10% anywhere.

Dismal fundraising until the last quarter.

A bunch of rabid supporters scaring everybody away from him talking about tinsel hats and organic portals.

Face it, he didn't make a big enough splash to be considered a big fish. End of story.

This is simply due to how the media wants to portrait ppl. Example: If this person is against your friends 'are you going to support them'!
Dr. Paul is not friends with the media, this is why he failed!
[Than again, it's a little to early in the race to say Dr. Paul lost!]

From what I've heard from Dr. Paul. It seems Dr. Paul may actually dislikes Rupert Murdock. Since Dr. Paul has made statements on how he dislikes the spin some media[Murdock media] puts on their news. Dr. Paul has stated some media outlets[under Murdocks ownership] are "misinforming" and "disinforming"!

This is to all the Paulites:

Do you really think there is a conspiracy, and do you think that this media conspiracy is why he is doing so poorly.

At this point I'm just curious to hear what many of you believe.

We are aware that the media is liberal and can take sides.

But do you really think there is a full blown CONSPIRACY to hold Paul down?

Look, Paul isn't the only one who's gotten the shaft from the Media at some point during this election cycle. Anybody who's name is not McCain, Clinton, or Obama has had their fair share of unfair press. Paul didn't have the minerals to rise above it, maybe the next guy will. I don't like it either because my guy has been getting screwed pretty hard as well, that's just the way it is.

Im a Paul supporter.

My opinion:

I don't think there is a 'conspiracy'. I do, however, think that the media is purposely ignoring him because of his stance on many things that go against the beliefs of the owners and personalities employed by the media outlets.
But than, that is also their right to do so in a way. It's not fair, but nothing really is.

But things like writing off post debate poll wins (the phone in ones) saying that the Paul supporters spammed them is completely idiotic, and the know it. Of course, the Paulites did this (what they believe) but of course the supporters of the other candidates NEVER would.

No conspiracy regarding the media.
I am more worried about voting fraud and the like.

Besides, Paul pretty much won Nevada. He would have if not for the stupid ProLife/ProFamily/Ronal Reagan bull****.
After all, the prolifers support Ron Paul. They endorsed him.
And who is more Pro Family than Ron Paul?

But why those three, what is so special about them? The only thing I know that's special about them is...
...They look good on stage?
Corporate friends with money, support of corporate globalization? I don't know, you tell me!

Romney looks great on stage so I think its much more than that.

Clinton, obvious. Shes a huge name in politics.
Obama, hes black charismatic and new.
McCain, hes been around for awhile, and is very moderate.

The media has no problem supporting very liberal candidates like Clinton or Obama but they never put a lot of backing behind a very conservative candidate.
