yeah nobody like the old pallets and tires field, for one it's dangerous, and second it's just not professional. I was looking online and actually saw an nppl field back in 2002 that was a coregated pipe field. I hear they make a great sound when hit with paint too. lol.

not bad then, either way it the coregated pipe could lead to a second field, hopefully. So about this tournament series, what fields do you think would be willing or available to participate?

You don't want to start a tournament series by hosting it at different fields.

Thats a guaranteed way to fail.

Do you trust other field owners to present a polished product? Do you trust their netting/HPA/paint/refs/etc..

You want to establish your ability to run a successful stand alone tournament (ie safe and FUN!) and THEN run YOUR tournament at other viable locations. The more aspects you can control, the less the chance for disasters to happen (ie bad skid of paint, broken compressor/fill station, horrible refs, etc.. etc..).

If your tournament(s) is safe, fair, and fun. The teams will come to you. We hosted a Walrus Cup in Standquist MN that attracted 20 teams. It was in the middle of nowhere and almost every team drove a minimum of 3+ hours to get there. But they came based on our proven track record for producing great 3-man tournaments.

el pengo sumwhat has a point but i know iver would be able to run a fun, safe, and intense tournement and im sure the new field will too from the sounds of things....would it be a good idea to have it at 2 different fields that are both trustworthy or would that be worthless?

Do you have any dates yet? Few of us north of the boarder may make the trek...... also be nice to see some of you guys make the trek to the PSL in Saskatoon, great prizes, great xball sized field with turf, and excellent run series. www.saskpaintball.com Rumour has it that american teams get free entry to the events. Impact refs the events, and Roger Chan of Impact owns the field

You gotta look at it this way:

Would you trust somebody else to come in and run your business for a day? Handle YOUR money, interact with YOUR customers, etc..? Cause its the same thing as having someone else host YOUR tournament series...

I would hesitate to do that before your experienced doing it in your own backyard.

We hosted our series for 2 years at our home field before venturing into new areas.

It's a basic field for now, nothing fancy, just trying to keep it as simple as possible till I know how far I can run with it.

Bro, its a MODEL of a supair field. Its just to illustrate the potential.

When he acutally has it set-up, he can change it whenever.

There is no field in Fargo

When people refer to the field in Fargo, they're usually refering to valleypaintball, which is located in Sabin, MN.

Great field, fun time.
