I just saw Forgetting Sarah Marshall and she looked bangin in that movie, especially that uniform or whatever she wore while working the front desk

However, not so sure she's cut out for action films...

If anyone played the game, they would know Max Payne has a "love scene" with Mona Sax. Actually, it's raunchy, no love involved. But either way she is hot, and will be bangin in this flick.

Can't wait to see it come out, one of the best storylines for a video game I've ever played.

Escept I bet said story got raped by hollywood. They also tried to make it like a video game so it won't be too good.

Poptart your bandwidth is exceeded.

My problem with the movie is if they combine Max Payne 1 & 2 or alter the plot, and I'm pretty sure they're going to do both, which is going to piss me off. Hopefully they don't slaughter it.

Plot of game 1 made as a legit drama would be amazingly good.

I think the best actors for this role would be:

Gerard Butler.

Ryan Reynolds.

Keanu Reeves ( If he didn't do The Matrix. ) He's pretty much PERFECT for the role ( Constantine, Street Kings )

Clive Owen.

Loan Gruffudd.

and lastly,

Ray Liotta.

He's not tall enough, nor has the look of Max, and I don't think he will be able to express the pain Payne did.

Go watch some of their movies, only one I'd agree on is Gruffudd.

I tend to agree...

The first is where ALL the focus should be. If I were to make a guess here, I'd say this film will mostly depend on the story, and how accurate it was pulled from the game. As for what concerns me, I find the acting itself is a FAR second, knowing how good Hollywood is in mimicking video game plots, accordingly. When it comes to games on screen, I don't really ever recall the last time I complained MORE about the acting, more so than the change in how it was directed.

Mark Wahlberg will do fine. He is a better actor than some people give him credit for. I don't think he will have a problem expressing pain.

He's a wonderful actor, no doubt, I just think there are better for the role.
