"It was confirmed through The Hollywood Reporter that 20th Century Fox had bought the rights to bring the game to film in early 2003.[10] The Max Payne movie is to be directed by John Moore. Mark Wahlberg has been confirmed by Fox to play the role of Payne in the movie and production is scheduled to begin in 2008.[11] The movie will be produced by Collision Entertainment and Firm Films in Toronto.[12]"
i think mark would do a good max payne. one of my favorite games.

Yeah no kidding. I remember playing Max Payne when it first came out for PS2 and I had nightmares about the game because it was so violent. |

why the **** are they coming out with a Max Payne movie but not a Halo movie. ****ing douche

because a good halo movie would be expensive as **** to make it correctly. max payne can just be another action movie.
i mean do you want halo to be another "DOOM"

I have that game for my PC and I loved every minute of it. I think Whalberg can pull it off. He wouldn't have been my choice but I still think he can do it.

Because Halo is one of the most overrated shooters of the last ten years.
It's gonna be a long wait to see the results, but I think Marky mark is gonna make waves in this movie if it's written even half way decent. |

If they stick to the main themes and keep the heavily noir plot, it has the chance to be a good movie, despite mark whalberg being in it...
