ST Book Club

I don't know about a lot of you, but I don't read nearly as much as I like to when I'm in school, usually because I don't have anything to motivate me. So I figured why doesn't ST read a book together and then come together to talk about it or tits; the discussion will go where it wants.

So, any takers? Any books?

EDIT: If you have a book you want to nominate for the first ST Book Club, post it in the thread and preferably pm me.

I'll make a poll on Saturday

I forget who it was who mentioned it in ST, but "I, Lucifer" would be a promissing pick.

I'm down for this.

A suitable book would be hard. I'd nominate a book I've just started reading called jPod, but it certianly might not be everyone's cup-o'-tea.

Here's a wiki-synopsis

Finding a suitable book might be hard, but it's worth a shot. We can do the whole democracy thing.

I'm up for whatever the concensus ends up being. How long should we have for suggestions until we pick what book or make a poll?

I say 3 days.

Me too, I already own it.

Let's all read the Da Vinci Code! Nah but seriously, I'm all for this.

Gotta keep in mind everybody's reading pace. I myself am a speed reader and can finish a book or two in a day.

Depending on the length of the book, I say like two weeks at most, we'll see how it goes, in either case stragglers shall be left behind.

Let's give it til the weekend to get more suggestions, I agree.

During school I get busy and might not have time to sit and read, so a two week period sounds good to me.

I am interested, depending on the book that is selected, and whether or not I can find it in my school or town library.

I've read it, and really enjoyed it. Even if we don't end up reading that, I'd still recommend it on an individual basis.
