The problem in question is not the integrity of the epoxy as a material itself, it's the fact that it isn't used a solid polymer in this application, it's a bond material and you are stressing this bond not the actual structure of the polymer, hence why i said adhesives
(not solid polymers) are stronger in shear then in normal stress which you are primarily incurring
cut a tank in half and epoxy it back together and i highly doubt it will hold, layer layer upon layer of material with epoxy or resin in between and you have an actual tank.

Don't post how it works, or a blue print. At least until you have it really close to being done. Otherwise who knows who might try to steal it. certain companies have been known to "steal" ideas very often lately. Even ideas that have been produced long before they "stole" the ideas. Be careful what happens with your idea.
i'm curious what designs you know have been stolen and profited on, especially "lately"
