Today Travis "Big Cat" Tappa was killed in a work accident at age 21.
People that play at stinger or siege probably would recognize or know Tappa
It was sum years ago when he invited me to play woodsball with him and a group of guys one day. I played on and off every now and then. Then at Ambush Alley there was a XSV clinic and Tappa invited me onto EZ Money the team that he made. He then played on and off till this summer, when we would go to stinger on Thursday nights and Sundays for practice every week, and hit up Texas Road House after for lunch or dinner. These are the times I will miss most, cause for those of you who know when you go out to eat with Tappa you always have a good time. He also backed the UWP paintball team in there victory at the last NCPA tourney at stinger. Recently he had to stop playing cause of tears in his Achilles tendons on both ankles, but was looking to make a come back this spring. For those that knew him off the field are even luckier, he always stood up for his friends and truly lived life to the fullest. Thanks for the good times. This is a shout out to the guy that gave me a chance in paintball, to my friend, mentor, and paintball brother RIP.
Also my condolences go out to his Parents, family, Dan K his best friend, Randi his girlfriend, and anyone that knew him.
