Sniper 2 any good?

Hey guys, I'm totally new to pumps, and know next to nothing about them, but it's something I've been wanting to try.

Well, I have three guns for trade (quest, ul'd pmr, tadao'd mini) and someone is offering me a Sniper 2 with the following specs:

new "The Grip" twist lock feedneck
team hooptie pump kit
superstock body
32* single trigger frame
old school dye stickies
or matching blue timmy grips

I know nothing about how good the Sniper 2 is, or how much it's worth. Could anyone give me some helpful advice about this possible trade?

Thank you!

Ah I wouldn't go with that trade, the Hooptie pumpkit isn't all that great and its a pretty common sounding gun, you could probably trade for something better. Good luck.

You could probably get a nice Series5/Series6 out of one of those markers.

Snipers perform well, but that one's probably worth about a buck fifty to a buck sixty.

really? I had a team hooptie pump kit and I liked it more than a ccm6 series pump stroke

It has a pretty short pump stroke.

You're right then, he was WAYYY off with his guess of approximately $160. Especially if you had one very similar that went for 160

just ribbing you man, thought it was funny though

dude, seriously? I was joking that he said that he thought it would go for around 160 and you disagreed with him by saying that you sold one just like it for 160.

*taps the mic, "is this thing on"

you guys forget, a pump kit on a cocker adds at least 300 dollars to its value.

When he said "buck fifty to buck sixty," I'm pretty sure he meant $150 - $160 and not $1.50 - $1.60

Seeing as you're new to pump, a sniper 2 is a great start, they're reliable, simple, easy to clean etc.. You could get something better for one of the markers you've got for trade though. If you do get that sniper, he'd better add a few hundred dollars.

good guns and will perform about as well as any good pump, but not worth more than $150

yes.... because the cocking distance is shorter with a hooptie kit
