It would seem like you would need to replace your stock valve spring with a much lighter spring to get a real low pressure. Most of the 100psi used (I would think) is to move the ram and compress the spring. With a lighter ram/hammer and valve spring you should be able to run low pressure.

Right now my HPR pressure is at 175, LPR is ~50-60 I'm guessing (haven't had a chance to gauge it yet) and dwell at 14 ms (hoping to lower it significantly soon). I just got the pressures like that by polishing the snot out of the ram and using Rich's new valve and he ported out the air transfer port in the body which helped lower pressure. I might try a Rocket Valve soon and see what that does.

anyone gotta LPR tester i can borrow for a day or two, to see wut its set at? the free kit will proly be another 3-4 weeks.
