is there a rule about partially white guns, such as the cleat 49% white rule? I ask because i may be using a white epiphany similar to this one:
Its more silver than it is white... really, it is! My hands cover the grips and reg, and i actually have a black back for my freak, so the only white will really just be on the body.

if you used different grips and/or took off the front red cover you would be safe for sure seeing as the barrel you would use is black. even then though youre right but i would check it just to be safe.

The rules forbid hopper covers, but idk if tape would be considered a cover. better check wit the dudes in charge so you dont get stuck with no hopper at the event.

No metal spikes.
Honestly, go buy some turf shoes. They will blow your mind, and you can find them super cheap.
My Nike turf "Commanders" were < $20 at the Nike outlet store in Albertville.
Puma sells some clutch astroturf shoes too...

No. Turf shoes are better, in fact--they are the best. Turf shoes are designed to put the most surface area in contact with the turf as possible.
Cleats on the other hand are too "deep". Cleats are better on grass/dirt/stuff you can dig into.
