I'm sure his writing isn't that bad, considering he is a world reknown authour and you seem to just be some envious chump. As far as his "factually incorrect" content....pretty sure you can pick up his books in the "fiction" section. Maybe you should go pick up a dictionary and look it up.

Where Men Win Glory

By Jon Krakauer.

It details Pit Tillman's entire life - childhood, how he started playing football, his time with the Cardinals, his decision to join the military, and the events leading up to his death. So far, it has been an excellent read. Though, the further I get into it, the more I am pissed at the underhandedness and incompetence of our government and the incompetence of some of his command.

Really? I liked the first part of the book when the disease first spreads and the aftermath, but it then goes a complete 360 and becomes a quasi-religious story, a simple good vs. evil story

I'm reading Fanshen. Its a book writen about the change in one particular town to communism in 1946-1947. Its really good, if a bit depressing...one things for sure though, what we had our revolution for is paltry compared to the Chinese.

But i'd like to read a funny/witty book. I've read so many sci-fi books, so im kind of not feeling like reading the series.

i was actually disappointed. there seemed to be a lot more "revelations" in his previous two 'blockbusters'. it was a good book no doubt, but didn't live up to my expectations.

Forever by Pete Hamill.

A good book which chronicles the life of Cormac O'Conner who inherits a wonderful gift - everlasting life (with one stipulation, he must remain on Manhattan Island). It follows him from being a child in Ireland in the early 1700's through his revenge seeking voyage to the United States (where he receives the gift) and as he watches the city change during great episodes in American History (Revolutionary War, War of 1812, Mid 1800's, and modern times).

You can read the first 89 pages on Google Books:
