just finished I Am Legend. God, that book was so much better than the movie.
getting back on topic;
i picked up Choke a while back, and got half way through it. maybe i'll finish that before buying another book.
buuut i really want to read A Practical Guide to Racism. no, it's not a white power book or anything like that. it covers all races, and gives a humurous look at them all. there's even a chapter on Merpeople (yes, mermaids.)
on the back was a quote that made me buy it,
"As everyone knows, there's only one thing that can end racism: laughter. Or five. This book is a ready source of both. Read it with someone you hate."

Currently reading "Made to Stick" a business-esque book about how to make ideas and concepts "stick" in the minds of your audience.
Also in the middle of "Economic Facts and Fallacies", which is exactly what it sounds like.
And "The Starbucks Effect", which is a business profile type book, and also explains how/why the company has seen so much success.

Born Standing Up by Steve Martin
1984 by George Orwell
And The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger for English class.
Enjoying them all.
Next up when I finish both 1984 and Steve Martins book is probably gonna be The Road by the guy who wrote No Country For Old Men, that or Atlas Shrugged Which I started but stopped because it was a ebook and hard as hell to read on the computer, burned my damn retinas.

I finished my book today and I'm in need of something new, but I am kind of holding off on grabbing a new book just incase this ST book club thing gets off the ground and they decide on a book in the next couple days.

In the middle of reading Looking for Alaska By John Green. very very good book, my fourth or fifth time reading it.
The Black Swan By Nassim Taleb. reading for school but its very interesting in its explanation of real world events, don't necessarily agree with it but interesting nonetheless.
