This is my new(old) '97 Bob Long Ironman Cocker. It's all original straight down to the quick disconnect. It currently has the original stock Bob Long slider frame in it with a cut and stretched spring in it. It might as well be welded on because I have no plans whatsoever to change the frame out. The only mods I have planned for it are a roller sear, Freeflow hammer and spring kit, and maybe a sidewinder inline. Otherwise no changes...including the shroud!
Oh yea, I run it on a 72/3000 AA Raptor Rex that is 9 years old and has been hydrod 3 times. |

My 1st cocker
Well I had never shot a cocker in all my years in PB , (16 years) . Reading the forums here kind of intimidated me a little , timming problems and all . So last month i decided to tough it out and get one . I chose to get an Outkast . I took this thing apart as soon as i received it ( a big no no i started to think to myself ) . I have since upgraded everything accept for the body (which will be next ) . Tonight i put the last peice on and started to time it . I only had one problem , everthing was in perfect time ,. So I just added some pait to the hopper and painted my fence . I was impressed that i was able to succede on my fist try . Cockers are easy .

I'll post up more recent pics sometime soon. The beaver tail kept pissing me off so its long-gone and I fubared my RAM randomly (don't ask) - so an Ecclipse one is taking its place. The next step is a Hinge trigger frame (possibly a Dye dual finger - who knows) but as for right now...slide frame owns me.
