Is Guitar Hero 3 for PC really that laggy?
I can't afford a 360 right now, but I love Guitar Hero. I went on www.bestbuy.com and found out they have it for PC and Mac, but at least every other review says it has a lot of lag. I have an eMachines T5212 computer with Windows XP MCE, upgraded nVidia GeForce 7600 GS graphics card, 1 gig of ram, dual core processor, etc. I was J/W if you think that that will run the game fine? Yes, I've played Frets on Fire, Flash Hero, and Freetar Hero too. I hate using the keyboard. So don't bring those up please, lol. Thanks!

hmm. I cant see why it lags. Your processor is iffy because its stock emachines. Plus its most likely a software error for pc.

GH3 for PC blows. even on my machine* it will suffer small hiccups on occasion, it's poorly ported.

it runs on my E6420, 2GB of RAM, and an 8800GTS. but a friend of mine with a 7600GS, 1GB of RAM and a 2.4GHz P4 can't play the boss battles and has to have most settings on low for it to even run.

I know the guitars works on PC's and 360's as you stated, but when I get a 360 and a new guitar hero comes out, all I'll need to do is buy the game which will save me mooonayyy.

C2D @ 3.4Ghz, 2GB DDR2 with a X1950XTX and it runs fine for me. Every once in a while I'll get a very minor hiccup. It hasn't caused me to loose track of the notes though.
