Since I have a Phantom, and I use a DW barrel for my Droid, I'd choose the freak. I already have a couple inserts, so I'd get the Phantom stock barrel bored out for inserts personally. What kind of marker is this for?

Depends on the pump we're talking about here.
So, what pump are we talking about?
A lot of pumps come with very good barrels that don't need to be upgraded from the factory anyways, they just need a good paint to bore match.

I'd always use something with inserts on a sniper, whether that's a freak, scepter kit or whatever. If I were using something smaller/lighter like a phantom or buzzard I'd probably just opt for the stock barrel.

what ever is a kit, most bran name barrels shoot the same to me, but its got to be a kit if its going on a pump,
the best barrel kit SANCHEZ Machine, !!!!!

I believe all kits shoot the same so I went for Freak. Easy to get and cheap.

Freak (But no SP fan)
Paint to barrel match is important to pump play. The Freak has a nice wide choice of inserts and can be used on many guns.

I usually use my Freak... but now I'm currently using my Stiffi ( Just got it for 2 weeks.) so far so good it depends on the paint...

id rather use detent rings for my phantom. but since i already have a freak kit for my cocker, i use that on my sniper.. imo phantom stock barrel is amazing, no need to change

Stock stainless barrel on my buzzard, the 12 inch dye stainless on my mini comp, 12 inch .685 bore with double porting and wedgits on my Illy.

freak bc of their selection of bore inserts sizes. as a pump player matching bore size with paint is important for Accuracy so unless you are planning to stick with certain paint forever I would go with the Freak
