You've probably only heard "Failure in the Flesh" on the new CD by TTeoTD. I'm talking about other songs on that CD.

Listened to the entire CD - was entirely unimpressed.

Believe what you will. Unless the drumming is something like Origin, Psycroptic, Nile, Necrophagist, Quo Vadis, Arsis, etc I'm going to be wholly unimpressed. As it is, that was the case and I was unimpressed.

You can't tell me that DeathX3 isn't some of the most moving, inspirational music you've ever heard.

Technical drummers. Alot of jazz drummers are super technical and what not. Buddy Rich is a very good drummer. Thomas Lang is also a very good technical drummer

Carter Beuford from DMB is probably the best of both worlds. He uses double bass, but musically. He has one of the deepest pockets and just grooves.

It makes me sad to think you guys would even take that seriously. I'd call you all dolts, but I think you're all smarter than me. But how did you not get the joke?!?

On another note, I think Brent Smedley (Iced Earth) did a decent amount of technical drumming on Framing Armageddon. Not the fastest guy out there by any means, but he matched Schaffer's guitar with the bass drum a lot. Good examples (I think) are Alive in Athens and FA.
