The episodic content has been rather mediocre when you factor in the year it took for one to be released.

****ing Valve is slow as ****.

personally, i think episode 2 made up for episode 1's lack of content and story. if episode 3 is half decent it'll have a nice conclusion.

Get Orange Box. Now.

It has HL2-HL2ep1-HL2ep2

You can play through them in order. Those games are spectacular. I really think the Half Life series was the best game series ever made.
I have TOB for PC.

Unfortunately, this is true. Valve's games are amazing, but their production team's lazy as all hell

I had to think this through for a second. I thought, "Hey, drex didn't say anything!"

Valve wanted to try Episodic gaming to see if it could bolster sales, which is has. Would you rather have them release all 3 Episodes as one package in 5+ years or constantly release games pertaining to the action and events until it is over (HL2:EP3 is the last installment of the Half Life 2 series.) To call the games mediocre because they took over a year to perfect them is laughable.

Quality doesn't happen at the snap of your fingers, they aren't EA here.

In EA's case, quality doesn't happen at all

Srslytho, HL series FTW. I've had HL1 since aroudn the time it came out, when my dad got me into it.

I still need to finish ep1 and ep2. My ****ing 7900GT artifacts so much on these games, I definitely need to RMA it. What's weird though is that with all my other games it would only artifact if I played for a real long time (ie 5 hours straight in Oblivion) and if I put the graphics up on par with HL2's then it would just have too low of a fps for me to play and see if it would artifact faster.

Just one more episode then they are moving on to HL3.

Spoiler: (Highlight this box to see the hidden message.)
The next episode is going to be in the artic scene trying to find Mossman and finding the Aperture Science ship, the Borealis. Hopefully we will get our hands on the portal gun.

Yeah, I wasn't totally sure at first either. Look at the part of the crowbar that's in the light, then look at the one in the HL3 pic. Even if it is shopped in the HL3 pic..
