haha wow the posts are pretty sad.. i thought it was really fun...*My opinion* its not about hitting one person either its about the force. not one man could make a difference it was about 20- people that would push back german or allie forces. So i didnt really care if i hit a person and he didnt go out.. its just a waste of paint.. its now a tradition with my friend to go.

He was running and getting shot up to all hell. Either he was trying to get away from being shot, or was trying to take cover to play on as so many where doing that game. He super man dived into a tree. He got serious spinal shock and other less serious injuries. According to players who are EMTs that where on the scene at the time
-911 had to be called by a player because central command wouldn't do it for whatever reason (I've heard way too many diffrent ones)
-Skirmish didin't have a board, straps, neck brace, or other medical equipment nessecary to evac someone who had been seriously injured
-The refs had to apparently get people to stop shooting multiple times but no one listened because refs can't boot people for anything less than murder at Skirmish
-etc.
While you may not care if someone goes out when hit if it's blatantly done across the line itquickly leads to huge problems. Like total lack of field controll. So much unsafe crap happened last ION that if skirmish doesn't fix it someone is going to bloody die there.

I can back most of that up. I was a Medic holding an aid station nearby and they wanted to use that as a headboard. I was also watching over a guy that was ill due to heatstroke and shooting broke out all over the place several times. I was wondering if I was going to have to shield him until he got up again. If you have a team, it's something to consider to make one of them the medical/safety officer.

O ok. THanks 10-shot kid i watched the whole thing thats why i was so curious i saw him he was in german base wearing a gas mask costume and then alot of people started shooting him he ran back for cover tried to jump over a sideways tree fell got up took of his mask started yelling at this guy right next to him then fell over... and after that all i know was that refs were asking for a knife so... i was assuming he couldnt breathe and they had to perform a tracheotomy.
And delta frank please explain to me how eating a 55 gallon drum of glue would make me say that? im farely new to the game and dont know all the terms
It defiantly doesn't look like there are NOT gonna be allot of people there either this year. I think 3,000 would be fine and if they they would make the boundaries a little smaller more of a centralized fight. Cause really...the beginning was the best part for me so much action and like you couldn't just walk off the field. IM actually really pumped for next year cause i was such a noob i didn't realize they were only filling 2500psi and that people were shooting reballs, and glass out of there guns, at 450fps

I will be at ION, never missed one yet, Look foward to it each year.
You find some great deals when you visit all the venders.
I know you cant find so many players in one place at any other field, its kinda like a cult following.
It is fun to visit other teams camps , see old friends and see all the new teams that show up.
If you like to role play you will not be disipointed = Tyrell
For any one player or teams, GO, you will have fun at this game.
Some players will always stay bitter (BOO HOO), but most will return !!!!
See ya at ION
