So I picked up the supplies today and built 2 of them. Super easy. A few design issues at first but after a little bit of adjustments, they both came out nice. I must say that the PVC pipe I picked up at Home Depot (3/4") along with the elbows was very sturdy and does not rotate very easily after assembly so The tank padding back part I don't rotate down. The only adjustment I do to slim it down is to flatten the front support post.
A couple things to share. I highly recommend this design over the much more simple rectangle for the main reason of the wider design is much more stable.
I used 3/4" foam for the tank padding and 1" foam cut in half to pad the barrel stand. I used 2 way wall anchor tape to secure the barrel pad. The barrel foam grips the barrel nice and secure for an extra layer of security.
I shortened the front end of the stand compared to the hustle video to allow for the weight to rest closer to the frame.
I also wanted to make a double stand but it was much easier to make two separate.
