anyone here with me on that they should not only quit music...but quit life? there so horrible and the drummer should just shoot himself for shutting down napster (which was way better than any p2p program today)

Well, maybe not quit life, but they should have gone out when they were at the top of the game. Nothing sadder than an old punch drunk boxer still in the ring, except old washed up rock stars still on stage. Lars was more of a figurehead than anything, they would have been taken down eventually. But.. F-YOU Lars!

I DLed some of the new stuff. It sounds like garbage cans being slaughtered. Nothing will ever beat old school Metallica and James also reminds me of Scott Weiland on this album........

wow, you must've been one ugly ****ing kid. fetish rhino? you're family must be really ****ed up. fetal rhino would be more fitting, but you'd be putting urself down as well.

as far as Metallica goes, i'm sorry that they play instruments and know how to play them well. as opposed to all rappers who use computer music programs, or new rock bands who play music on the same level as jewel.

I wouldn't go as far as St. Anger pulled them out of the hole a little bit, because i think the vocals puts this album among the worst but i agree that there 80's material is among the best metal ever

the difference in drums is the way they recorded it he has his snare tuned looser so its louder which in turn makes it have more reverb and thats it. he uses a tama starclassic maple one of the best sets and there would be no way in hell he could tune it to sound like trash cans. also he does some real drumming than that 2 and 4 s*it
