Indie Alternative Rock

Couldn't find a thread dedicated to indie music, there's gotta be a few people in here who like it.

A few bands on my playlist right now:
Architecture in Helsinki
The Arcade Fire
The Apples in Stereo
Bloc Party
Say Hi to Your Mom
Of Montreal
Her Space Holiday
Bright Eyes
PlayRadioPlay!

If you don't share some musical tastes, keep your opinion on the quiet side. Discuss.

Check out a band called Sea Wolf. They opened for Nada Surf and they were
amazing.

Band Of Horses
Iron and Wine
Doug Martsch
Dr. Dog
The Format (favorite band)
Matt Pond PA
Minus the Bear
The Shins

Those are most of my favorites.

*Goes and sees John Darnelle instead.

I listen to pretty much nothing but "indie" music and hip hop.

Right now I am really digging Liars, Animal Collective and Sunset Rubdown, but Neutral Milk Hotel is my favorite band of all time.

And as far as classifying indie music, pretty much anything that isn't always blaring on the radio falls under that blanket.

There're more post-hardcore. But IMO they're decent if you're into that genre.
