The mask is really up to you. It's all about personal preference. I reccomend trying on different masks and picking which one you like the most.

As far as the nVader goes............
I used to own one. I bought it because I though it looked cool, and I still think that. The mask is comfortable, and provides great head coverage. Some people complain about it fogging up, but I never had a problem. I had thermal lenses though.

Finnally, a mask I reccomend - PROTEUS

Ok, the nvader provides more neck protection than the flex7, but I still would recommend you saving a little more money and buying a flex7.

Hey cockerman I hear the proteus is really uncomfortable....?

The problems I had with the nVader was 1:the foam around the nose made it difficult to breath (I fixed this carefully with an exacto-knife) 2: It didn't come in a Spectra lense (problem solved..tadah..nForcer). other than that the only other thing was the face plates screws where a pain to get out.

I didn't like mine. It fit too tight and the lense was small. I could see the sides of lense in my periphial vision. I like the scott hot shot for $29.00. It comes with a thermal lense. Also the foam is better and more absorbing.

I had one and slaped a yellow thermal lens in it and it was nice. Then I played a game in 77 degree weather for 6 hours and DAMN WAS THE FOAM ITCHY! It gave me a rash from my eyes.
