Madison Area Ballers...

Where do you guys play? I'd really like to get back into paintball a little more, but I can't afford to drive 2 hours to Stinger all the time. Any good fields close by? Anyone with a private field looking for someone else to ball with?

stingers only an hour away an its the only decent place to go to during the winter in the area

An hour? How fast are you driving dude... It's a good 2+ hours for me coming from Cambridge, and Cambridge is closer than Madison.

Thinking about taking up pump speedball, do we have any ballers of that persuasion round here?

Somewhat north of you, but I'm always up for a good pump game. I've been hoping sanity would kick in eventually and I could legitimately pursue my Pump X-Ball idea here in WI (shameless plug, it's on my site somewhere which hasn't been updated in many moons).

Actually, given the Stinger Top Gun tournament, I'm wondering if Biggie would think about adding a pump division on the next go around...

We make the drive almost everyweekend n its nothing close to 2 hours, it says about 1 hour 30 min on mapquest, but we usually make it in 1 hour, maybe an hour n 10 min if theres traffic

You play at Apocalypse, amirite? I might be looking for some folks to play with this summer and Apoc is a reasonable drive at only about 45 minutes from my doorstep... hit me up if you're willing to take on an extra player

Hey how's it going everyone. I don't know if any of y'all remember me but my name is Timmy and I used to play for Sublime. I was the one who was obsessed/in love with Bob Long Intimidators. Still am.

I was just wondering if Nate and Randy and Kal and all them guys are still playing paintball. I havent played since Chicago and before that, I hadn't played since the Previous Chicago. So I kinda got out of the Sport but sometimes I really miss it.

Is big Rick and Randy and the old DPU or DP kids playing still?

I know Nate's at school in Milwaukee, but I don't know if he plays anymore. I haven't heard from or about any of the original DPU guys since the summer DP moved to the place on Rimrock. I bet if you shot Nate an email/IM he'd be looking to play again, though.

Let me help you out here.

Randy = Outa the game
Nate = Sometimes playing with element
Kal = playing with element and chicago shooters 7man team
Matt = Playing with element

Rick was playing for Scatteville and is going to MATC now I believe. Not sure if he's still balling, probably. As far as the old DP people, I only somewhat know what's going on with the former DP crew; not sure about the former DPU or DP Kids crew.

I saw Fatty Matty stop by XFire when it was running once over the summer, he lost a lot of weight.

Don't remember who ben is.

Our team usually goes up every other weekend and there are plenty of people looking for others to hop on with.

From what I know, took a year off from pb due to school/money, there is. We were playing Class A a year ago but it was run so unprofessionally we dropped out. Now I think they are playing Class AA exclusively every now and again. Most of the guys play for College in local and PSP tournaments. Harley or Joey would know better then I would on the whole situation, I'll pm you their e-mail address.

i wish i had money and time to still play..... i cleaned my **** for the first time since uh... RCO... the other day and one of my grip frame screws that i shoulda replaced a year ago stripped which reminded me of one of the reasons paintball sucks so I just kinda gave up lol

hey guys a couple of my friends and i are trying to get some people to pitch in to buy a airball field. we live in sun prairie and if you dont know where that is its a suburb of Madison. so if any of you guys are interested in helping pm me. we have a pretty nice size shed that we can put it in during the winter and play some reball. we also have a nice spot to put it during the summer too. so pm if you have any information on cheap paintball bunkers or if you would like to help pitch in for the field.
