Osiris mod question

I read the sticky and instead of having to make the parts for the second ram and whatnot, could they be bought? And if so, which parts?

Negative. Do not listen to anyone who claims the osiris to be a half timmy cocker. There are many who think so... IDK why.

Bob long (intimidator) did not make the osiris, Bob R long (turtle) did not make the osiris. Leon Styles of PGI made the osiris.

It is similar to a b2k or dragon one kit. a spring return ram.

Do not waste your time. They are gas hogs. Invest in something more practical.

I know, I have owned 3!

why do you have 3? now I know why they were hard to find...

I dont know why the long confusion would stop you from using a shaft to custom make a ram but I might be missing something. you are going to need duel lprs there a front block you can use ill see if i can find the name.

Bob R long did do the half blocking for PGI I believe

I can say for certain that if you have a working cocker that shoots just fine you are one of the three, or all of the above. 1- you are not an idiot. 2- you know someone who is not an idiot. 3- you have enough money to pay someone who is not an idiot. - jonotwist

My only correction would be that they are like a BKO, not a Bushmaster, 2K or otherwise. The Bushmaster used a completely air driven ram, while the BKO used a spring return.

I dont get what the point of the osiris mod and how it even works. there is 2 lprs but where does one of them lead.. Just doesnt make any sense. seems like it would be 2 *****es to get it synced right

I had bushmaster written for a sec. and changed it. I knew one of those ICD used the spring return rams.

fearless you are correct, Bob R long did do the half blocking for PGI. But he did not invent anything on that marker.

I had 2 markers. One turtle STO with the eblade, one turtle with the rocker, and a kit in my PTP micro, I sold the kit, and since then it has floated around pbnation and customcockers. Has a lava looking ano on the sleeve. I also hollowed the ram to reduce some of the kick.

Chopshop, one lpr is for the cocking pneumatics. The second lpr hose goes inside the trigger frame to a 3 way noid that runs the spring return ram in the bottom tube. the hammer and backblock are not connected that is why I say an mq valve is a better choice then the osiris kit.

I'm a proud owner of an Osiris. It's been my dream to own one since I knew what they were. Gas hogs don't bother me in the least. My field offers free air, so after a game, top off the tank and you're good to go. They're just so ingenuitive...

Anyway, there are 2 LPR's and 2 'noids. The top LPR fees air to the front cocking 4-way 'noid, and the bottom LPR feeds air to the internal 3-way 'noid. The internal 'noid operates the FASOR ram in the bottom tube of the marker.

I've owned 2, race framed full body, and rocking trigger halfblock... MQ is definantly a better way to go.

Why does an MQ2 have a cocking rod? To guide the backblock so it doesn't twist.

tipp, they should have a rod of some sort guiding them unless their mid or half blocked mq's.
..
the hammer and springs are replaced by a ram hammer that smacks the valve. that is what the second lpr and and second noid activates. the others activated the ram..

thats 2 out of 3 previous/current osiris owners who agree. Skip the idea of an osiris kit/modification.. it was a nice marker, but its technology was surpassed very quickly. EBZ
