OG Ironman Cocker...is it legit? (BIG PICTURES!!!)

First of all, sorry about the size of the pics...My brother and I have this old old cocker thats got some ironman tags on it. As you can see in the pics its pretty beat up, needs some new parts as well. I am looking to get it fixed up but I was just wondering if this is an authentic Ironman used cocker or not. Its got "Bob Long Signature" on the side of the grip frame as well as "Used By Team Ironman" up the back of the frame. Is there anyone that can let me know if this is legit, who it was used by and is worth getting fixed up?

I agree, but if you do decide to change anything, make sure you keep the original parts...That is one old gun...nice find.

I was under the impression that the Ironmen have always been the Ironmen, with the obivous sponsorship and personnel changes. I was just wondering if anyone had been with the team long enough to tell me if they actually used cockers like this, way back in the day.

this is a bob long cocker, idk if post or pre split.

kapp 3way and lpr reservoir were not stock items. if its a brass ram that might be original but some of there guns did come with clippard brass rams. you do have an og ironmen boomstick

I have a picture of another one. When I was away playing in a tournament we met and ex pro player. We went to his house and he showed us all of his achievements. He had a Nppl ring, the trophy from that same win, a gun that was custom built for Dave Yb and an original Ironmen jersey. This was just sitting a drawer in his basement.

Bad pic, but you can barely see the lettering on the side of the gun.

The splash gun was not an official Ironmen gun. I doubt it was used by an Ironmen. Bob Long used to sell aftermarket 45 frames that had the laser engraving you see here. there is a good chance this gun was originally a custom built gun by Bob Long, but over the years has had parts swapped out, like the 3-way. When this gun was made kapp didn't make 3-ways. I would not worry about keeping the pneumatics or reg you will not be jeopardizing this guns authenticity. I think it's great, a timeless masterpiece.
